Florence Lee is a creative practitioner born and raised in Hong Kong. She received her BA in Graphic Design (Moving image specialism) from Central Saint Martins. Her creative practices include animation, moving image, visual poetry and visual communication design. She loves to explore the extraordinariness in the ordinary objects of a city. Her work expresses the emotional, aesthetic and sentimental responses that she has to the particular environment or building of different cities where she used to live and travel.
She co-founded No Reason Studio, a Hong Kong based independent art publishing studio with a focus on illustration, photography and animation. They are dedicated to contemporary print and publication productions. They had joined several art book fairs and festivals such as Taipei Art Book Fair, Hong Kong Art Book Fair, HK Zine and Print Fest, Kowloon City Book Fair, etc. You may find their books in Kubrick and ACO Book. Lee is now doing her MFA programme in Creative Media at City University of Hong Kong.
